Activities on Boracay are experienced mostly outdoor and focus on recreation, sun & fun and, inevitably, fitness. The center of activities is the White Beach.

Scuba Diving: There are many dive sites around Boracay for both beginners and experienced divers. Roughly 30 Dive Shops offer their services for the 20 or more dive sites within a 30 minute boat ride. Some of the Dive Shops explore also more distant dive sites in the vicinity and as far as northern Palawan. Most of the Pacific fish species are resident around Boracay, including sharks, manta rays and turtles.

Sailing: ‘Paraws’, outrigger sailing boats, are for rent at many places along the White Beach, with or without a sailor, depending on your sailing skills. Prices range around 300 Peso an hour. For people who like speeding in the wind, hobby-cats are the ideal sailing outfit

Golf: A 18-hole, par 72 golf course is located in the northern part of Boracay. The golf course was designed by Graham Marsh and is, according to golf enthusiasts, one of the most beautiful courses in the Philippines.

Gym's: Several well equipped gyms are located in the center of the island.

Wellness: Boracay boosts some of the best wellness centers and spas in the Philippines. Several resorts have also added small spas or massage centers

Wall Climbing: Two wall climbing venues can be found on Boracay Island. One inside the D’Mall is suited for Children and beginners, while the climbing wall at Patio Pacific poses more challenges with its 15 meter wall, partially overhanging.

Mountain Biking and Hiking: Exploring the island on a mountain bike or on foot is not only healthy, but the best way to explore out-of-the-way places of the island.

Windsurfing and Kitesurfing: Bulabug Beach, on the eastern side of central Boracay, comes alive during the early months of the year when triggered by the Northeast monsoon; windsurfers and kite surfers skim and compete through its waters. During the Southwest Monsoon windsurfers and kiteboarders move to the White Beach.

Shopping: Exploring Boracays many shops and outdoor malls at ones leisure is fascinating and a unique shopping experience. From widely available beach-related items, to jewelry made from shells and pearls, over handmade lamps, antiques, native woodcarving and sarongs one can find all of that along the beach path of the White Beach or in one of the many open-air malls.

Markets: Boracay’s exotic market life takes place today at two outdoor malls a little North and South of boat station 2. Both are easily accessible from the White Beach and from the main road. The northern mall has an upscale part with furniture and artistic handicrafts, a vegetable and fish department and a restaurant square. The new market south of boat station 2 offers visitors exotic sights and impressions of local seafood, meat, vegetables and other local delicacies as well many souvenirs.

Aqua-Sports: Boracay’s White Beach is the paradise for Aqua Sports. Very popular are the banana-boat rides. More: Snorkeling, Sailing, parachute-sailing, skim boarding among others.

Beach Activities: The White Beach is a perfect place for beach activities. Beach volleyball, beach soccer, beach tennis, and Frisbee are widely and spontaneously played, especially in the late afternoon. Anyone is welcome to join in and play for fun.

Nightlife: Sunset is the start of nightlife on Boracay: Depending on your mood it’s a last swim in the red-golden sunrays, reflected by the deep blue and calm water, or a drink at one of the many places along the White Beach, meditating into the sunset. Later, well after dinner, several bars along the White Beach offer entertainment and disco well into the wee hours. During summer in April to night spots are often crowded. Some places ask entrance fee, especially when the party takes place at the beach witgh bands and DJs .
